Legible, quiet and yours to tune: legends, VoiceOver, Reduce Motion, text size, sound and contrast.

Legends you can read

Pick the legend font, weight and size independently of the keycaps, so the letters can be as large and bold as you need. See Key legends and fonts.

VoiceOver

Every control in the app has a spoken label, with hints and values where they help. That includes the proofreading companion and the knob.

Reduce Motion

With Reduce Motion on, lighting, backgrounds, edge shimmer, the pet and the companion settle into still poses. Lighting can also be turned off entirely.

Text that scales

The app's own type follows your iOS text size, so the settings you read grow with the rest of your phone.

Sound and touch, separately

Haptics and switch sounds have their own strength, and either can go all the way down. See Feel.

Contrast on your terms

Keycap and legend colours are yours, with a separate set for Dark Mode. Studio flags low-contrast legends before you make a code. Automatic legend colour always picks black or white for contrast.
