Rigs and slots
Lighting Studio runs background, under-key and legend effects together. You keep your own rigs in slots.
- Tap an empty slot to design a rig.
- Tap a finished rig to fit it. A fitted rig lights both appearances.
- Hold a rig to edit, share or delete it.
The three channels
A rig has three layers that the keyboard runs at once. While editing you preview one layer at a time.

Shaping the motion
- Shape: the path the light moves in.
- Second motion: a further motion woven through the first.
- Steady holds the light still, so the palette does the moving.
- Reactive flash: a key flashes as it goes down, on top of whatever the rig runs.
Share a rig
Hold a rig and choose share. The whole design travels inside a NuKey code, so it works offline and needs no server.
