Keyboard Extras Pro

Nineteen small features that live on the keyboard's surfaces: a pet, clocks, games, a calculator, converters and more.

What they are

Extras are little features that sit on the keyboard's surfaces, mainly the space bar and the suggestion bar. Turn one on, give it the knob, and it is there whenever the keyboard is.

NuKey ProExtras come with NuKey Pro. They arrive over the air, so the list grows without an app update.

Add one

  1. Open Keyboard Extras from the home hub.
  2. Choose an extra from the grid and turn it on.
  3. Open its settings sheet, where it has one, to tune it.
  4. To reach it with a press, set it as the knob or push-button action in Board Controls.

What is in there

  • A pet on the space bar, which you can look after.
  • A nixie clock and a day-and-night sky.
  • Games, including Hangman.
  • Practical tools: a calculator, unit converter, bill splitter and snippets.
  • A focus timer and reminders.
  • Typing speed readouts and more.

Battery and motion

Decorative extras are held still under Reduce Motion, and the keyboard eases off animation in Low Power Mode.
