Troubleshooting
Fixes for the things people ask first: a missing keyboard, silent haptics, changes that do not show, and starting over.
NuKey is not in the globe menu
- Check Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards lists NuKey. If it does not, add it.
- Open the NuKey app once after installing.
- Force-close the app you are typing in and reopen it.
No haptics
- Haptics need Allow Full Access.
- Check Haptic strength is above zero in Feel.
- Check the master switch at the top of Feel is on, and that NuKey Pro is active.
No sound
NuKey's click follows your media volume and the silent switch, not the iOS keyboard-click setting. Raise the volume and check the switch, then check Sound strength.
Changes are not showing
- Changes appear the next time the keyboard opens. Switch away from NuKey and back.
- If settings have stopped syncing, check Allow Full Access is still on.
- If a language switcher is empty, that is also Full Access.
The keyboard feels slow
- Liquid Glass can lag on older iPhones. Switch to a normal cap style, or use Nuke Mode.
- Try a calmer lighting pattern, or turn lighting off.
- Make sure Low Power Mode is not masking a real issue by testing with it off.
Pro is not showing
Sign in with the Apple ID that bought it, reopen the app, and check Family Sharing if it was bought by someone in your family. If it still will not show, message us from Support inside the app.
Starting over
Keys → Reset NuKey erases everything and starts again. To reset only touch learning, open NuKey Adapt and tap Start learning again, or press and hold Reset personal calibration in the Keys menu.
Still stuck?
Open Support inside the app to send a message with the details attached, or follow reported issues on the feedback board.
